These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of WorkKit Online (“we,” “our,” or “us”), including our website, free tools, and subscription-based business software. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Important: WorkKit Online is software to help you manage business records. It is not a bank, payment processor, accounting firm, legal adviser, or tax adviser.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) and legally able to enter into a contract. If you use WorkKit Online for a business, you confirm that you have authority to act for that business. Provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access through our contact form. You are responsible for activity on your account, except where caused by our breach of legal obligations.
2. What the service provides
WorkKit Online offers features such as invoice and quotation generation, customer records, project and expense tracking, analytics, document exports, and optional automated functions. Availability depends on your plan, service configuration, and maintenance. We may reasonably improve, change, or discontinue features. For material adverse changes to paid functionality, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and required by law.
Documents, calculations, notifications, templates, and reports may contain mistakes or depend on the information you enter. Review all outputs before using or sending them. You are responsible for deciding whether generated documents meet your local legal, invoicing, accounting, and tax requirements.
3. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the business information, customer details, uploaded files, and documents you submit (“Customer Content”). You grant WorkKit Online a limited permission to host, process, store, reproduce, and transmit Customer Content solely as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service, or to comply with law. We do not acquire ownership of your Customer Content.
You are responsible for having the necessary rights and lawful basis to submit personal or business information, including information about your customers or employees. Do not submit highly sensitive information unless an appropriate feature and protection has been explicitly provided for that purpose. You should maintain your own copies or exports of important business records.
We implement reasonable security measures, but no online service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability. Information about our personal-data practices should be provided in a separate Privacy Policy; these Terms do not replace that notice.
4. Free Starter and paid subscriptions
Free Starter: The currently enforced free creation allowances are five customers and five saved invoices/quotations combined over the lifetime of the account. Deleting records does not reset those allowances. Other limits and feature availability may change as displayed on the Pricing page; we will not describe restrictions as enforced before they are implemented. Existing records are not automatically deleted solely because an allowance has been reached.
Pro Monthly: The standard subscription price is USD $2.99 per month. If an eligible first-month introductory offer is actually available at checkout, the first month may cost USD $1, followed by USD $2.99 each month thereafter. The checkout total, renewal amount, and next billing date shown before purchase control the specific transaction. An introductory discount is not guaranteed for every account.
Pro Annual: The advertised standard price is USD $23.99 per year, subject to the checkout display and applicable taxes. Both paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled. We will clearly disclose recurring charges before purchase. Third-party payment providers may calculate applicable taxes and handle charges, refunds, and payment details.
Sandbox notice: WorkKit Online's current Paddle checkout is configured for testing and does not accept real payments. The pricing descriptions above do not mean live subscriptions can be purchased until live checkout is enabled.
You may request cancellation through the available account tools, payment-provider controls, or our contact form. Cancellation prevents future renewals once processed and normally leaves paid access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and any refund policy presented at purchase; nothing here removes non-waivable refund or consumer rights. We may change future prices with appropriate advance notice and any consent required by law. We will not retroactively change an already paid billing period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use WorkKit Online to:
- commit fraud, create knowingly false financial records, infringe rights, or break applicable law;
- upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, services, or infrastructure;
- disrupt WorkKit Online, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass access or quota controls, or overload the service;
- send spam or unauthorized messages to third parties using WorkKit Online features; or
- use another person's information without appropriate authorization.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate steps, including restricting or suspending access, where reasonably necessary to protect users, our systems, or legal compliance.
6. Intellectual property
WorkKit Online, its interface, code, branding, and associated materials remain owned by us or our licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business purposes. This does not transfer intellectual-property rights in WorkKit Online. You may use and distribute the invoices, quotations, and other documents you create with your own content, subject to third-party rights and applicable law.
7. Warranties and liability
We aim to operate the service with reasonable care and skill. Subject to rights and protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, WorkKit Online is provided on an “as available” basis; we do not promise that it will be error-free or always online. We do not guarantee any particular business, legal, financial, or tax result.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or business opportunities, arising from the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to a paid subscription is limited to the fees you paid WorkKit Online in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For free use, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, and do not limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other liabilities that cannot legally be restricted. Nothing in these Terms excludes your mandatory statutory or consumer protections.
8. Suspension, cancellation, and ending service
You may stop using WorkKit Online at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for serious violations, legal requirements, or security threats, using reasonable notice where appropriate. We may also discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practicable. Following termination, access to data may be limited; request an export before account closure whenever possible. We will handle retained information according to applicable law and our applicable retention practices. We do not promise indefinite storage following termination.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will publish the updated version with a new effective date. For material changes affecting existing users, we will provide notice as required by law. Where consent is legally required, we will obtain it. Continued use after an effective change may constitute acceptance only where legally permitted.
10. Applicable law and disputes
Applicable law and dispute procedures depend on the service provider's legal identity, the country in which the service is offered, and mandatory protections where you live. Nothing in these Terms attempts to remove non-waivable rights or require an unlawful forum. Contact us first so we can attempt to resolve concerns promptly; this does not restrict your right to pursue available legal remedies.
